Even though this is not so anime related I thought I would mention this since it has recently consumed my thoughts pretty heavily lately. Me and a friend from work decided to try and LARP it seemed fun…I have a big field, why not give it a go?
I must say though I am in some serious pain here haha. More just my muscles aching from actually doing something for once. All in all it was good fun, we plan to start a group so we can do it more often and have around 30 people or so attend. The whole idea of the LARP is to create a medieval world and alternate character of yourself. We have incorporated politics, factions, weapon types, game types, and much more to create a well rounded realm we call Inverness.
Anyways great fun! just wanted to make a quickie post and show off some pictures. (I am the one with the bandanna mask…going for an emo warrior type of look xD) Today was also just a simple practice day little roleplay took place. We have an event scheduled for March 17th which should be really fun! Sorry for the short post today, but just to add, that site IS done now, the transfer has went over well so far and I am happy =3. Now I need to get my damn Kisuke cosplay posted!! XD

@Yi the weapons we used on those pictures were wooden rake handles with a pool fun noodle over it for safety with tons of duct tape around it, but later in the day the handles were breaking left and right (cept for mine =P) so we went out and replaced them with PVC pipe instead, and its much much cheaper.
